Minnnie Klappenback Summoned By Death
Mrs. Minnie Klappenback, 56, for many years a resident of Lewiston, died at St. Joseph's Hospital yesterday at 3:42 p.m. She had been a patient at the hospital 21 days. Cause of death was not announced last night.
Mrs. Klappenback was born March 11, 1892, in Verndale, Minn. She came to Lewiston 21 years ago and had made her home here until her death. At the time she was taken ill she was employed as a seamstress at the city cleaning establishment. She was a member of the Lewis-Clark Grange and the Baptist Church.
Surviving is two daughters, Mrs. Jenetha Merrill, Portland, and Mrs. Genevieve Gardner of Boise.
Funeral services will be held at the Vassar-Rawls funeral chapel tomorrow at 2 p.m. Burial will be at Normal Hill Cemetery.
