Edgar "Daggy" Glen Colby, 78, of Conroe passed from this life to join The Savior on Monday, September 4, 2006.
Daggy was born December 2, 1927 in Eunice, Louisiana to Ira Glen and Lorena Pommier Colby and graduated from Conroe High School in 1944. He proudly served his country in the Navy during WWII, and then married Alta Benita Harper on February 29, 1952. In his younger years, Daggy was a paramedic. He retired from Superior Oil Company after a career of over 37 years. After retirement, he also was a consultant for Mobil Oil Company for a number of years. He was preceded in death by his parents, his only sister, Cora Mae "Corky" Williams and a nephew, Dennis Russell Williams.
