The body of Rodney D. Briggs, founder of the Briggs Manufacturing company, Detroit, Mich., who died at a local hotel, was taken to Detroit Sunday night by his widow and son, Dr. G. D. Briggs, Flint, Mich., for services and burial in that city. Masonic services will be held for Mr. Briggs Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in Detroit and burial will be made in the family plot in Roseland Park Cemetery.

Survivors besides the widow and son mentioned are two other sons, Walter O. Briggs, who came here to assist with the funeral arrangements and has now left for Miami, and M. L. Briggs, Detroit, The Endicott Funeral company had charge of local arrangements. The Evening Independent, March 9, 1931
