Shirley was born to the late Eli "Buzz" and Sallye Allred in Emory, Texas. She was a loving wife, a compassionate mother and a giving friend. Shirley lived in Colorado, Wisconsin, Connecticut, Michigan, England, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uruguay and South Korea. She saw much of the world and her favorite sights were those of her friends and family.
Shirley was an active member of West Lake Hills Presbyterian Church in Austin and loved spending time with all her friends whether at church, the Nokonah, Book Club, Emory High School, or anywhere throughout her wonderful journey of life.
She leaves her two sons, Michael and Jon Fudge, of Dallas; her grandchildren, Eva and Luke Andrus, of Austin, Keenon Fudge, of Waxahachie, and Brandon Baker, of Waxahachie; two sisters, Frances King of Rockwall, Nina (Ira) May of Abilene; her aunt, Dorothy Bailey of Dallas; son-in-law, David Andrus of Austin and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins and her dear family friend, Paige Schuemack of Austin.
A private interment took place at Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery in Emory, Texas. The Memorial Service will be held, at Westlake Hills Presbyterian Church, 7127 Bee Caves Road, Austin, TX 78746. Reception to follow the service in the church parlor.
