Lillian P. Radtke, age 88 of Baraboo, passed away on Friday, May 21, 2010. Born of Fred and Jennie Scheffert at Benson, IL on September 12, 1921, she attended and graduated with honors from Trinity Lutheran School and Bloomington High School of Bloomington, IL.

She married Lawrence F. Kehoe in 1942 and over a 20 year period, had 8 children and 13 foster babies while living in Baraboo and La Crosse, Battle Creek, MI and East Orange, NJ. After returning to Baraboo in 1959, she worked at Kunzelman's Ice Cream Parlor for many years, then retired as an Office Manager at Sears after 15 years of service. She then worked as an Accounts Payable Clerk for the Baraboo School District for another eight years and retired permanently.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Jennie Scheffert, first husband, Lawrence Kehoe, brothers, Merrill and Myron, sister, Esther, infant son, Thomas, son, William, grandson, Ryan Ringelman, great-great grandson infant Jaxxon Allen and mother-in-law and father-in-law, William and Lillian Radtke of Baraboo.

She is survived by husband William A. Radtke of Baraboo, 6 children, Patricia Jeglum (Louis White) of Mission, Texas and Cecil, Wis., Rose Anne (Roger) Ringelman of Weirsdale, Fla., David (Dianne) Kehoe of Baraboo, Daniel (Sheree) Kehoe of Madison, Jeanne (Ivan) Allen of Arapaho, Okla., Kevin (Rene) Kehoe of Arapaho, Okla. There are also 20 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella, St. Joseph Catholic Church and St. Clare Hospital Auxiliary where she did many hours of volunteer work. She also did volunteer work for the Center on Aging and contributed to many charity functions worldwide. She loved cooking, gardening, needlework and especially counted cross stitch. One beautiful piece is hanging in the gathering place at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Burial will follow in the Walnut Hill Cemetery
