Ruby May, age 87, of Lynwood, CA went to her final rest with the Lord Sunday morning, February 2, 2003. Born October 24, 1915 in Groesbeck, TX, the 7th child in a family of 14 children born to Daniel and Jane Chavers. She said her 'ambition' as a child was to become a mother. Ruby gave birth to 8; Joy, Odell, Glen, Peggy (deceased 1992), Harold, Don, Carl and Susan. She became a mother to 2 more; Julie and Jack. She was grandmother to at least 23 and great grandmother to 15. Family was her life. She will be remembered by so many who loved her.
