Mrs. Frances Bass Ward, age 76, of Milledgeville passed away Saturday evening.
Mrs. Ward was a native of Milledgeville and had lived in Jacksonville, Fla., for 32 years before returning to Milledgeville 12 years ago. She was the daughter of the late John G. Bass and Vettie Towns Bass Billue, she was a member of the VFW and the Hopewell United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Charles E. Ward of Milledgeville; half sister, Sheila Bass; and half brother, Robert Bass of Dublin. An aunt and a number of cousins, nieces and nephews also survive.
