ARNHOLD--Clarisse Elisabeth (Sissy), born July 31, 1925 in Pecs, Hungary to Paul and Kitty Engel de Janosi. Passed away peacefully, January 22, 2013. Beloved wife of Henry Arnhold for 65 years. Devoted mother of John (Jody) and Michele, who predeceased her in 2007. Adoring grandmother of Paul and Julia. She will be missed by her loving family and her large circle of friends.
Donations have been made in her memory to the Public Broadcasting channel's "Nature" program which has fascinating episodes about different wildlife. As of December, 2019, Clarisse's loving husband, Henry, was added to Clarrise's memorial announced at the beginning of each episode of "Nature", a program on the Public Broadcasting System. I have found that Henry H. Arnhold died on August 23rd, 2018 in Manhattan, New York. He was born September 15, 1921 in Dresden, Germany and immigrated to Brazil in 1939 with his parents and other close relatives. He relocated to the United States and became an Investment Banker. He married Clarisse on April 28th, 1947 and the couple lived and raised their children in the New York and Connecticut areas. Place of interment was not known as of Christmas Eve, 2019. I was able to verify that he was interred with his dear wife at Wolfpit Cemetery, and have created his memorial accordingly in June 2020. May he Rest in Eternal Peace with his loved ones.
