Hazel V. Renfrew, 81, died at 5:10 a.m. Monday in Regency Place. She had been a patient there one year.
Born in Vermilion County, she moved to Lafayette from Hoopeston, IL, when she was 20 years old. She was educated in Vermillion County schools and was a homemaker.
Her marriage to James F. Renfrew, was in Kokomo, in 1935, and he died in 1980. Mr. Renfrew was a printer at Haywood Publishing Co.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Gerald (Caryl) Nice and Miss Marilyn Renfrew, both of Lafayette; a grandson, Eric; two brothers, Donald Brewington of Cissna Park, IL., and Lloyd Brewington of Hoopeston; and two sisters, Mrs. Henry (Leah) Rutherford of Ambia, and Mrs. John (Esther) Beggs of Danville, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Harvey.
