In the 1820 U. S. Census he was living in Chelsea, VT and there were a total of 6 in the household. By 1830 there were 5 living in the home and by 1840 only 2.
NOTE: There are at least 4 other stones in this cemetery. One only has the initials E. G., one has no markings, one had the top broken off so no information is visible. Could not find the top anywhere. There is also one stone where the top and bottom are broken off and missing but there is some information that can be read. It reads: "daughter of Horace & Ann Goodrich died Dec. 18, 1838 Æ 2 years, 1?" (the rest can't be read). I have not been able to find any information on these people. If something should surface I'll add them as memorials.
Known children: (some show Goodrich and others Goodridge)
Polly Spencer b. 9 Aug. 1805 in Chelsea, VT
Sophia b. 10 Aug. 1808
Susan b. 23 Feb. 1812 in Chelsea, VT
