Jack S. Anderson was born the son of Fred and Margaret (Stafford) Anderson on Nov. 22, 1919, in Chippewa Falls. He was raised in the Cornell area and graduated from the Cornell High School. He started working for Chippewa Valley Electric in 1939. When WWII broke out, Jack joined the Army Air Corp and served until the war was over.
After the war he returned home and married Molly McConville on Feb. 4, 1947, in Cadott. He continued his employment with Chippewa Valley Electric until his retirement in 1984, having worked for 45 years. He served on the Board of Directors for Chippewa Valley Electric for many years. He was a 4th Degree Knight with The Knights of Columbus in Cornell and was very active in The American Legion.
