John W. Emery, husband of Blanche Emery, passed away Friday, August 23, 2013 at his home. He was 88.
John was born May 27, 1925 in Standish, Maine. After graduating high school, he served in the United States Army, serving in World War II.
John was employed at the Blue Rock Quarry and later as an Inspector for Cyro Industries. John enjoyed dancing with his wife. He also loved attending all the local fairs with his a few of his friends. He was very active with the cattle pulls.
He will be missed by his children, Pat Emery and John W. Emery, Jr. and his wife Cheryl, 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
A graveside memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 28 at 11am in the Hillside Cemetery, Route 4, North Berwick, ME Arrangements are by the Johnson Funeral Home, North Berwick, ME.
