Stirling will be lovingly remembered by his wife Isabelle; three brothers: Mac, Glenn, and Mervin; two sisters: Iva Borchert and Dorothy Camelon; numerous nieces and nephews; and many great friends. He was sadly predeceased by two sisters, Grace Camelon and Muriel Johnson.
Stirling was retired from the Canadian Forces. Based mostly in London (with the RCR), he served overseas 3 times in his 30 years service.
A Memorial Gathering will be held in the Tea Room of First Memorial Funeral Services, 1211 Sutherland Avenue, Kelowna, BC on Friday, May 27, 2011 from 11:00 AM to 2:00PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Salvation Army would be appreciated. Condolences may be sent to the family through www.mem.com.
