Sapulpa- Donald Housley, 80, retired truck driver, died Monday. Visitation 6-8 p.m. Tuesday and service 2 p.m. Wednesday, both at Green Hill Funeral Home.

Donald E. Housley was born April 24, 1933 in Jenks, Okla., to Chester C. and Pauline V. Housley. He passed from this life to the arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 26, 2013, at the age of 80. He was surrounded by his loving family and his loyal little dog Ruby and cat Charlie. They never left his side.

He had 19 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. He was known as "PawPaw" to many of their friends. There was also a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Don was preceded in death by his parents; brother C.C. Housley, Jr.; sister Carla Jane Love Bilyeu; daughter, Shelley Richards King; son, Anthony Lee Tiger; and one granddaughter, Hailey Housley.

Service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Green Hill Memorial Gardens. The Reverend Archie Rivers will be officiating. The family will be available to meet with friends during visitation held 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, August 27, 2013 .

The family has chosen to entrust the care of the services to the directors at Green Hill Funeral Home.
