In Jun 1917 Charles filed his WWI draft registration card when he was living at 62 Purchase Street and working as a clerk for John J. Carr. At that time he was described as having a medium height and build, gray eyes and dark brown hair.

Carr, 216 Washington Street, Monday Mar 16 at 8 a.m. Requiem mass in St. Mary's Church at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. It is earnestly requested that no flowers be sent.

Charles H. Reilly, son of the late Peter and Susan (Corr) Reilly, died early this morning at the residence of his sister, Mrs. John J. Carr, 216 Washington Street, after a long illness. Born in Taunton and educated in the public schools, Mr. Reilly later became a clerk for John J. Carr. He was well known and his pleasing smile and personality gained for him many friends who will mourn at his death. He leaves three brothers, Rev. Fr. Edward Reilly of Emmetsburg, Maryland and James A. and Joseph P. of this city. He was a communicant of St. Mary's Church.
