Charles was born on June 22, 1912, in Libby, Mont., the son of Leonard and Alice (née Briggs) Bump. He was married to Helen Olson on October 12, 1940 in Kila, Mont. They lived in Trego until 1949 when they moved to the Boorman area for five years. Since 1953 they had lived in Kila. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Alice; and sister, Gladys Schlagel. He was survived by his wife, Helen two sons, Larry and Leonard; daughter, Joan Green; six grandchildren; and a step-brother, Louis Auge. Charles passed away Monday afternoon, August 7, 1978 in the North Valley Hospital in Whitefish, Montana.
