OBITUARY. TOM MOORE, WELL KNOWN BARBER DIES.
Aged Man Succumbs To Four Months' Illness; Funeral Sunday.
Thomas Andrew Moore, 74, a barber in Benton Harbor for the past 25 years, died at 11:40 o'clock Wednesday night at his home, 821 Church street, St. Joseph after a four months' illness.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the First Christian church in Benton Harbor, with Rev. T.W. Bellingham and Rev. Glen Crawford officiating. Burial will be in Crystal Springs cemetery.
Mr. Moore was born in West Unity, O., May 26, 1855, and had been a barber for 54 years. He retired in April of this year because of ill health.
His first wife died in 1908, and he was married on September 14, 1910, to Mrs. Frances A. Monroe.
Surviving are the widow, four children, Howard Moore, Delta, O.; Harvey Moore, Harlingen, Tex.; Mrs. Josephine Davis and Mrs. Gus Kranich, Benton Harbor; and four step-sons, William Monroe of St. Joseph and George, Logan and Forrest Monroe of Ohio.
There are also five grandchildren, Deputy Charles Davis of the sheriff's department; Harold Moore, Delta, O.; Mrs. Paul Ortstadt, Indianapolis; Mrs. Clarence Hadley and one great grandchild, Mary Lou Moore of Delta O.
He has one brother, E.M. Moore of Beatrice, Neb.
Mr. Moore had been a member of the-Christian church, and an honorary member of the L.L. circle, which will attend the funeral services in a body.
