Kenneth Raymond Blount was born October 17, 1946 in Erie, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Cleon and Mabel Beckman Blount. Ken first married Mary Bochert in 1969. They had two sons, Ray and Jonny Blount. In 1983, he married Linda Coburn.
Ken served with the U.S. Army in Germany, and in Vietnam. He worked at GE in Erie for over thirty years, and also worked part time at the McKean Ushers Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.
Survivors include:
- His wife Linda of 30 years;
- His son Ray Blount (Scott Foster);
- His son Jonny "Jack" Blount (Tammy) and granddaughter, Logan;
- His stepdaughter Tammy L. Coburn (Jason Gray);
- His brother, Reinhard Blount (Norine);
- His nephew Dale (Jenn) Blount, their daughter Olivia
- His niece Amber Blount Conklin (Dave) and their sons, Blace and Paxten;
- Brother-in-law, Ken Coburn; sister-in-law, Donna Hart (Ralph);
- Further survived by many cousins and special friends.
Burial will be in Erie County Memorial Gardens with U.S. Army Military Honors.
