Boyea, Peter - The community was shocked and deeply saddened to learn of the death of Peter Boyea, which occurred at the Alice Hyde Hospital, Malone, on Wednesday, July 22nd. He had been a patient in the hospital for a week. The deceased was born in Churubusco, on March 22, 1899, the son of the late Levi and Anna (Yelle) Boyea. For a number of years he operated a farm in the southeast section of the city Surviving are his wife, Lena (LaClair) Boyea, four daughters and one son, Mrs. Leo (Celinda) Boyea, Mrs. John (Marie) Morhouse, Miss Sheila and Catherine Boyea and Donald Boyea, Chateaugay; seven sisters and three brothers: Mrs. Victor (Eva) Blair, Phoenix, N. Y.; Mrs. Anna Jarvis, Chateaugay; Mrs. Erwin (Victoria) LaClair, Red Creek; Mrs. John (Minnie) Patnode, Tahawus; Mrs. Thomas (Rose) McGovern, Plainsville; Mrs. Wesley Perry, Tawahus; Mrs. Rufus (Angeline) Lamiea, Malone; John and Harry, Chateagay; Eugene, California; several nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts. Funeral services were held at St. Patrick's Church Saturday morning and interment was made at St. Edmond's cemetery, Ellenburg. Chateaugay Record, July 30, 1959
