MRS. LAURA MARKER HURD, widow of William H. Hurd, died Saturday at 6:40 pm at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William Murray, Clear spring, aged 83 years.

She was born in Frederick County, daughter of the late Joseph and Susan Kline Marker. She was a member of the Church of the Brethren, Hagerstown.

Surviving are the following: sons, Stanley, Harry and Charles Hurd, Hagerstown; and Elmer Hurd, Security; daughters, Mrs. Susan Seekford, Hagerstown; and Mrs. Murray, Clear Spring; brothers and sisters are, William Kline, Mt. Etna: Frank Kline, Carlisle, Pa.; Mrs. Mary Sonafrank, New Windsor; Mrs. Lillie Weaver, Carlisle, Pa.; Mrs. May Pryor and Mrs. Nettie Wolf of Wolfsville. Also surviving are 29 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 pm from the Church of the Brethren with Rev. Paul M. Robinson and Rev. Luther L. Hare officiating; interment in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hagerstown.
