Robert A. "Bob" Stein A journey of more than 91 years ended Thursday, August 29, 2013 when Robert A. "Bob" Stein went home to be with The Lord. Born on June 3, 1922 to the late Joseph and Regina Stein in the town of Meeme in Manitowoc County, Bob was a 1941 graduate of Sheboygan Central High School. On May 24, 1942, Bob married June Schneider in Jacksonville, Florida where he was stationed with the U.S. Navy. Bob was proud to have served his country aboard the U.S.S. Following the war, the Steins returned to Sheboygan where they raised three children before relocating to Green Bay in the mid-90s. Bob was a Letter Carrier for the U.S. Postal Service in Sheboygan until his retirement in 1976 and recently received his pin for more than 50 years as a member of the National Association of Letter Carriers.
