OBITUARY
Rose M. Braunreiter, 95, formerly of 526 N. Minnesota St. in New Ulm died Sunday, April 11, 1999, at Sleepy Eye Care Center.
Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm with burial in the Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today and 7:30-10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm. Christian Mothers Society will pray the rosary at 4 p.m. today at the Cathedral, and there will be a rosary by St. Elizabeth Catholic Aid Council at 6:30 p.m. and a parish prayer service at 7:30 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.
She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Fred Krambeer of New Ulm; son and daughter-in-law, Charles "Charlie" and Lucille Braunreiter of New Ulm; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Emma Keckstein of New Ulm.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew "Andy" Braunreiter on March 13, 1989; grandson, Calvin Krambeer on Sept. 8, 1989; a sister, Bernie Schneider; and brothers, Joseph and Leo Keckstein.
She was born Oct. 4, 1903, in New Ulm to Joseph and Mary (Kraus) Keckstein. She attended Holy Trinity Catholic School in New Ulm. She was employed as a sales clerk at the Herberger's in New Ulm for 12 years. She was a member of Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, Confraternity of Christian Mothers Society and St. Elizabeth Catholic Aid Council. She had been a resident of the Sleepy Eye Care Center for the past four years.
