Edna M. Georgenson, age 106, of Manitowoc, died Sunday morning, March 27, 2016 at Manitowoc Health & Rehabilitation Center,
Edna was born on February 9, 1910 in Menominee, MI, daughter of the late Felix and Donna (Newhouse) Byle. On December 5, 1931 Edna was married to Hubert Georgenson at Waukegan, IL. Hubert preceded her in death on October 22, 1986. She was an employee of Aluminum Specialty Company for 26 years. Edna enjoyed playing bingo.
She is survived by a special niece: Darlene Farr, Manitowoc; two special nephews: Marshall Byle, Elcho; Jerry Olson, Cypress, TX; three special friends: Ann, Jamie and Mary Jo. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Felix and Donna Byle; her husband: Hubert Georgenson; four brothers: Vernon, Bart, Rex and Ross; one sister; Ebba Olson.
Cremation will take place with burial of her cremated remains to be buried at Evergreen Cemetery. The Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home of Manitowoc is assisting with funeral arrangements. Online condolences may be expressed at www.jensreinboldandpfeffer.com
