Born in Hagerstown, he was the son of William and Sarah Kidwiler Mason Craig.
He was employed at Fairchild Aircraft for 32 years prior to his retirement in 1970. He was a member of the United Auto Workers Lodge 842.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Campbell Mason; two step-daughters, Mrs. Lilly Davis, Sharpsburg; and Mrs. Bonita Leach, Mariette, Pa.; a step-son, Joseph H. Bowley Jr., Hawaii; sister, Mrs. Hazel Avey, Troy, Ohio; four brothers, Lester Mason, Sharpsburg; Woodrow Mason and Kenneth Mason, both of Hagerstown; and Harold Mason, Alexandria, Va.; and 10 step-grandchildren.
Services Saturday at 2 pm at Coffman Funeral Home, the Rev. John Mills officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.
