No Maarker - 1854 - Aug 26, 1918 - Age 64 Years - George, an old timer in these parts, died at Miners Union Hospital, having been ill a week when the final summons came. He died of cerebral apoplexy. A single man who worked as a miner, he was born at Allentown, Pennsylvania and not much else was known of him. His relatives in Pennsylvania (not named) were notified of his death. The funeral was held at McLeod Undertaking Parlor and was well attended by old friends; he was buried at Hillside September 1, 1918.
