Margaret was born on February 12, 1944 in Little Rock, AR. She went peacefully into the arms of her Heavenly Father on August 24, 2013 in Shreveport, LA. There to greet her in Heaven were her parents, Reverend Floyd Melvin Durham and Virginia Elzetta Gray Durham and Elvis.
Left to cherish her precious memory are her daughters, Julie Conly and husband Chuck, Ginger Mohan and husband Michael, and Elizabeth Varnado; grandchildren, Lindsey Gayle Evans, Jacob Conly, Kyle Conly and wife Kaitlynd, Kory Conly and wife Dena, and Graci Mohan; One great-grandchild Brielle Conly and baby Vander Conly on the way; sister, Jean Foster and husband Paxton; nephews, David Harkness and Kevin Harkness, and niece Stacey Taylor. Margaret also has many great-nieces and nephews.
Margaret recently retired after 15 years at Fast Tax. Margaret, affectionately known as "Mimi" was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Mimi adored her grandchildren and they adored her. She will be deeply missed by all who love her.
Margaret's father was the pastor at St. Luke's United Methodist Church for many years and was also a veteran and VA Chaplain. Her family suggests that memorials may be made in their honor to St. Luke's United Methodist Church Missions Fund, 6012 Youree Dr. Shreveport, LA 71105 or Overton Brooks VMAC, 510 E. Stoner Ave. Shreveport, LA 71101.
