Isabel D. Strickling, 85 of St. Marys died Friday, Jan. 28 at her residence. Mrs. Strickling was retired from Pleasants County Schools, where she worked 42 years as a teacher and guidance counselor. She was a member of St. Marys Presbyterian Church, where she was church organist and taught Sunday school for many years. She was born in St. Marys, a daughter of the late George C. and Nellie Gatrell Strickling. She is survived by one niece, Marilyn Sue Rogers of Summersville, wV; two great nieces; one great-nephew and several cousins. She was preceded in death by one sister, Elizabeth Strickling; one brother, Crandall Strickling and one nephew, Crandall Strickling, Jr. Funeral will be Monday at St. Marys Presbyterian Church with Rev. D. Thomas O'Connor and Rev. Danile Simmons officiating with burial in IOOF Cemetery
