Mrs. Esther B. Andersen, 69, widow of Alvin C, of Sheboygan, WI, died Wednesday, April 7, 1976 at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.

The former Esther B. Beisser was born on April 14, 1906, at Plymouth, a daughter of the Rev. F.W. and Emilia Beisser. She attended public grade school and graduated from Plymouth High School in 1922.

She was employed at Mission House College for four years and worked for seven years at the former State Bank of Plymouth.

On October 20, 1933, she married Mr. Andersen of Sheboygan. Her husband, a retired assistant vice president of Citizens Bank of Sheboygan died September 29, 1975.

Mrs. Andersen was a member of Zion United Church of Christ, president of the Women’s Mission Society of the church, a life member of the Sheboygan Community Concert Association, president of the Lend-A-Hand Circle of the Kings Daughters and a member and past president of American Legion Prescott-Baynes Post 83 Auxiliary.

Only immediate survivors are three sisters, Mrs. Vernon Zimmerman of Appleton, Mrs. Alma Hirsch of Plymouth, and Mrs. C.E. Rusch of Superior.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 10, 1976 at Zion United Church of Christ, the Rev. George Monr, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery.
