Mary Lou Dingwerth , 76, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Saturday, Feb. 14, 2004, at Northwest Medical Center of Benton County in Bentonville, Ark. She was born July 15, 1927, in Tulsa, Okla., to Harry Hays and Jane Hays.

She married Howard Lee Dingwerth on Nov. 15, 1946, in Kansas City, Kan. The couple lived in Overland Park, Kan., from 1960 to 1986; moved to Port Isabel, Texas, in 1986; then moved to Bella Vista in 1996. She was a member of the Central Christian Church.

Survivors include her husband, Howard Dingwerth ; a son, Dan Dingwerth of Lenexa, Kan.; a daughter, Debbie Castillo of Katy, Texas; a sister, Martha Hays of Tulsa, Okla.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18, at the Amos Family Chapel in Shawnee, Kan. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18, at the Amos Family Chapel. Burial will be at the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Kansas City, Kan. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.
