He was born May 26, 1905, in Preston County, son of the late John and Elizabeth Riley Rohr.
He was a member of the Gordon Church and a retired coal miner.
At the time of his death, he was survived by his widow, Helen Bucklew Rohr; one daughter, Mrs. Donald (Wanda) Hunker of Morgantown; two sons, David Paul Rohr of Jere and Howard Vincent Rohr of Independence; one sister, Mrs. Merle Sackelson of Canonsburg, PA; one brother, Robert Rohr of Newburg; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Burial was in the Gladesville Cemetery.
