Janet A. Wickham, 93, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 31, 2013, in Rosewood Care Center. Born June 21, 1920 in Rockford, she was the daughter of Lloyd and Alice (Anderson) Rowe. She graduated fro Rockford Central High School. Janet married William L (Lee) Wickham in Dubuque, Iowa on June 27, 1938. He predeceased her in Oct 4, 1992. She was formerly employed by Sundstrand Corporation for 18 years. Janet was a former local past-president and former State Officer of Gold Star Mothers.
Survivors include her sons, Thomas (Janna) Wickham of Rockford and Danny Wickham of Mooresville, IN; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren and her dear friend and "sister" Angie White. Predeceased by her parents, 2 sons, Jerry and Gregg, infant daughter Barbara; daughter in law Shirley Wickham and 2 brothers, Robert and Richard Rowe.
Burial will be in Lightsville Cemetery.
