Lucille Prevatte Peterson, former long-time resident of Rocky Mount passed away March 17, 2009 in Largo, FL at the age of 90. She was a life-long member of Arlington Baptist Church. Lucille was the widow of Leroy Peterson and is survived by her daughter, Lynn Peterson Henderson of Largo, FL; two grandsons, Michael Smith, Jr. and Bryan Smith; three great-grandchildren Jonathan, Jessica and Brittany Smith. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 21, 2009 at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home with Dr. Bill Tomlinson officiating. Burial will follow at Pineview Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7-8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Flowers are accepted or memorial donations may be made to Friends of Hospice; 2460 Curtis Ellis Drive, Rocky Mount,N.C. 27804.Arrangements by Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home; 1130 N.
