Harold L. "Lew" Carrier passed away on September 2, 2013 in Findlay, at the age of 90. He was born in New Market, Ohio on October 27, 1922 the son of the late David and Verda Sonner Carrier. Lew graduated from Hillsboro High School; and was a pilot in the Army Air Core at the end of WWII. Lew and his wife Fran moved from Hillsboro to Findlay, Ohio in 1968. The past 2 1/2 years he lived in Arlington, Ohio. Lew was a great salesman and had his own lawn care business. Lew is survived by 2 children, 6 grandsons and 5 great-grandchildren. Lew will be missed by family and friends. We love you. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Frances (Ashmore) Carrier on December 27, 2010. A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 6, 2013 at 2pm at the New Market Baptist Cemetery. Memorial gifts can be made to Good Samaritan Society, 100 Powell Drive, Arlington, Ohio 45814. The Turner & Son Funeral Home, Hillsboro, is serving the family.
