Christy Nola Blair, 26, of Brunswick died Thursday at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta.

A native of West Virginia, Mrs. Blair had lived in Brunswick for the past 17 years. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Blair was a Baptist.

The funeral service was to be at 10 a.m. today in the chapel of Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Rev. Ed Hurst officiating. Burial was to follow in Chapel Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers were John Baker II, Corky Parsons, Butch Melott, David Melott, John Hopkins, Mark Blair, David Blair and Mark Hopkins.

Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Moore and staff, Dr. Ballister and staff, employees of Suncoast Paper Co., staff of the Medical College of Georgia, Steve Tyre, Jim Melott, Lee Lawther, Glenn Mullins, Marty Blair, Eugene Blair, Kathy Blair and Katy Blair.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to the Leukemia Foundation.

Survivors include her husband, Christopher E. Blair of Brunswick; a son, Dakota Asa Blair of Brunswick; parents, John A. Baker of Pennsboro, W.Va., and Catherine Melott of Brunswick; maternal grandparents, Orval and Dorothy Britton of West Union, W.Va.; paternal grandparents, Blaine and Betty Baker of Harrisville, W.Va.; a sister, Misty L. Parsons of Pennsboro; a brother, John A. Baker of Brunswick; several nieces and nephews; and other relatives.
