PULASKI — Onie Monroe Killen, age 89 of Pulaski went home to be with the Lord Thursday March 27, 2003 in Pulaski Community Hospital.

Born May 17, 1913 in West Virginia, he was the son of the late Flora Johnson Killen and Arthur Killen.

He retired after many years with his contribution of skills to several Pulaski area manufacturing plants. He attended Stafford Hill Pentecostal Holiness Church and the Kursey Bottom Original Church of God, and was a lay minister to many people in the Pulaski area.

He was preceded in dedth by two brothers; Oakley Killen, and Guy Killen; a sister; Gillie Oakes; and two granddaughters.

He is survived bjy his wife: Frances Smith Killen of Pulaski: three daughters; Mis. Millard "Mae" Spence of Pulaski, Mrs. Tommy "Glenna" McPeak of Draper, and Mrs. Arv in "Susan" Albert of Hampstead, N.C.: a sister; Sarah Nixon of Pulaski. Also survived by 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren, and many nieces & nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Thomas M. Seagle & Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard Wall, the Rev. H.T. Atkinson' and his grandson The Rev1, Charles McPeak officiating. Interment will follow in the Thorn Spring Cemetery. Visiting will be anytime Saturday after 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m, Flowers will be appreciated but donations may also be made to the Gideons. Arrangements by Thomas M. Seagle & Sons Funeral Home, Pulaski.
