Born to the late Frank R. Bishop, Sr. and Lona (Farley) Bishop. He had formerly resided in El Paso, TX, and Jackson, MS, before moving to Raritan Township, NJ in 1997.
He served in the United States Air Force for twenty-three years, attaining the rank of Senior Master Sergeant. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife of sixty-two years, Jeanette Noble Bishop; two daughters, Brenda Poston of Flemington, NJ, and Donna Barringer of Flemington, NJ; a son, Frank R. Bishop III, of Alamargordo, NM; a sister, Thelma Day of Palm Beach, FL; five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
