Ruby "Jean" Usrey Collie, 88, Bloomington, died Tuesday (Sept. 3, 2013) at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.
She was born Aug. 20, 1925 in Graves County, Ky. to Robert Nettles Usrey and Katie Pearl Slaughter Usrey. She married James E. Collie on May 17, 1943 in Mayfield, Ky. He preceded her in death in 2006. She was also preceded in death by her parents; two children, James (Carla) E. Collie Jr. in 1995 and Jeannette "Jan" (Sherrill) Campbell in 1972; her sister, Katherine Usrey Clark; her brothers, Thomas Usrey, Rupert Usrey, Phillip Usrey, Robert Usrey, Herman Usrey and Marvin Usrey.
Surviving are her daughters, Vivian (Cal) Hubbard, Mary (Dan) Aper and Rachel (Mark) Warren. She also raised her granddaughter, Kelly (Craig) Campbell Ward. 12 other grandchildren, Neal Hubbard, Nathan (Sara) Hubbard, Seth (Rachel) Hubbard, Molly (Ben) Aper Conaway, Max Aper, Joel Aper, Natalia Warren, James Warren, Clayton Warren, Britta Warren, Jamie (Mary) Collie and Jordan Collie and five great-grandchildren, Grace Hubbard, Elliott Hubbard, Davis Ward, Emily Ward and Connor Ward.
