Allen Lee Meyers, husband, father, grandfather, passed away on November 15th, 2003 after a courageous battle with cancer.

He was born in Belmond, Iowa on April 30th, 1939. The youngest of 14 children, he grew up with his older brothers and sisters watching out for him.

He joined the United States Air Force when he turned 18 and was stationed in Bermuda. There, he met the love of his life Catherine Polydores. They were married a year later, on April 30th, 1960.

Allen and Catherine lived in Ballard for thirty plus years. He was a commercial electrician by trade working in the Seattle area. He retired in 2001 and moved to Port Angeles to enjoy his passion for fishing and the outdoors.

Allen is survived by his wife, Catherine, his daughter Karen Lee Gonzalez (Silvano), and sons Steven Nicholas Meyers (Melody Carter) and Richard Henry Meyers. He has six grandchildren who adored him dearly, Lorenzo, Alicia, David, Stefanie, Holli and Madison.

He was incredibly courageous and displayed a love that will be missed forever.
