Geneva R. Nibblett, age 91, of Ligonier passed away on Monday, September 2, 2013. She was born on March 10, 1922, to Andrew and Lula (Isbell) Aaron in Sipsey, Alabama. On April 13, 1946 she married Eugene Nibblett. He preceded her in death on May 26, 1995.

Mrs. Nibblett was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and working in her flower gardens. Geneva loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a strong woman of faith, and believed in the power of prayer. Geneva loved mentoring and discipling others in the Lord, and was very active in the church. .

She is survived by two daughters, Myra Yelton, Ligonier and Lawana (John) Marcisz, Calumet City, Il; three grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; one sister, Dorothy (Ned) Holley of Russellville, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one sister, two brothers, one grandchild, three great grandchildren and a son-in-law.

There will be a funeral service held in Mrs. Nibblett's honor on Saturday September 7, 2013 at 10 AM at Stone's Hill Community Church with Pastor Joey Nelson and Pastor Brad Cooper officiating with viewing one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Topeka, Indiana.
