Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend, passed away quietly at home Friday November 10, 2000 of a brain tumor. He was 82 years of age.

Alma was an amazing man, beloved by all who knew him. He had a tender heart and always found time to serve those in need, especially the widowed.

Born in Bicknell, UT Jan 27, 1918 to Levi Cameron and Otilla Nielsen Brinkerhoff, he moved to Idaho with them as a small child. He served in England during World War II and in the Reserves for four years following the war. He graduated from Utah State University and received a teaching certificate from the University of Utah. He married Ronda Virginia Walker Dec 17, 1956 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Retired from Sears after 27 years. Ordinance worker in the Jordan River Temple for the past 11 years and served in many other church capacities especially in the Sunday School and high priests quorums. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and gardening.

Alma and Ronda are the parents of John Cameron (Muriel Meeks), Murray, UT, Ann, Salt Lake City, Susan (Chris) Mork, Hinckley, UT; and the grandparents of seven. Also surviving is his sister, Mrs. Fern B. Anderson, Weiser ID; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by three brothers.

Services will be held 12 noon Wednesday Nov 15, in the Cottonwood LDS 12th Ward chapel, 1750 Spring Lane. Friends may call Tuesday 6-8 p.m. at Jenkins Soffe Mortuary 4760 S. State or at the church one hour prior to services. Interment, with military honors, Mountain View Memorial Estates Cemetery, 3115 E. 7800 S.
