Mr. Curtis Eugene Thompson, 91, passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at Choctaw Residential Center. He lived most of his life in the River Road Community of Neshoba County. His special interest was in moonshining. He was a member of White Oak Baptist Church.
Mr. Thompson was preceded in death by his parents, James Wilkerson Thompson & Ollie Moss Thompson; wife, Ava Thompson (1994); (2) sisters, Flora Massaro & Rosie Maxey; (2) brothers, Jasper Thompson & Troy Thompson.
Mr. Thompson is survived by his daughters, Nita Thompson Heath of River Road, Janie Dent of River Road, Tricia Thompson of River Road, Donna Thompson Rawson & her husband, Jerry of Carthage & Connie Thompson Pieters & her husband, Bob of River Road; sons, Ted Thompson of River Road, Stanley Thompson & his wife, Dianne of River Road & Cooper Thompson & his wife, Cleo of Mars Hill Road; (16) grandchildren; (30) great-grandchildren.
