Mark Chester Kerr, 83, a former resident of Washington, died in Santa Barbara, Calif., on Nov. 8, 1996. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the United States Navy.

Survivors include: two sisters, Hilda Kerr Varnado of Hemet, Calif., and Joyce Kerr Bourgogne of New Iberia.

Mr. Kerr was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Kerr; six sisters, Mrs. Arthur (Mary Ruth) Briggs, Mrs. Lawrence (Beatrice) Moreau, Mrs. R. (Ruby) Wagner, Mrs. Raymond (Hazel) Martin, Amy Vivan Kerr, Mrs. Frank (Maysie) Trosclair; and two brothers, Royden Lester Kerr and Albert Claud Kerr.
