William Thomas Dawes was born on Tuesday, February 24, 1925 in Chelsea, Oklahoma to William Thomas and Lena Harbert Dawes. He attended Chelsea Public Schools and Graduated from Chelsea High School.

He married Alma Gean Huls on January 7, 1946 in Independence, Kansas.

He worked as a Plummer and as a heavy equipment operator.

Treetop & Gean have a special niece and nephew and their spouses,
Wayne Dawes and wife Diana of Adair, Oklahoma and Rose Mary Patton
and husband Richard of Wichita, Kansas, that are dear to their
hearts and have been very special in their lives, just like their
own children, and their four children are just like grandchildren
to them.

Treetop died on Wednesday, June 10th at SouthCrest Hospital in
Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents, six
brothers and one sister.
