BETTY RUTH ADDISON BARRETT, the wife of Eugene Barrett of Beattyville, Kentucky and the daughter of the late James and Martha Smith Addison, was born in Owsley County, Kentucky on October 7, 1936 and departed this life in Lexington, Kentucky on August 30, 2013 at the age of 76 years, 10 months and 23 days.
She was a loving mother and housewife, and was a devoted member of the Community Christian Church which she loved so much.
In addition to her husband Eugene, Betty is survived by two sons, Larry W. Barrett and Anthony Ray Barrett both of Beattyville; one sister, Ruby Smith of Cincinnati, Ohio; one brother, James Golden Addison of Booneville, Kentucky; and a host other relatives and many friends.
