Obituary
Services for Dorothy Juanice "Niecey" Bong, 64, of Huntington, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday in the Gipson-Hunter-Metcalf Chapel with Marty Mueller officiating. Interment will follow in the Sims Cemetery in the Rocky Hill Community.

Mrs. Bong was born September 4, 1934, in Lufkin, Texas, to Emmie (Moncrief) Arnold and the late William Arnold. She died Sunday, April 25, 1999, in a Humble hospital.

Mrs. Bong was retired from the First City Bank of Houston. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mrs. Bong loved to travel and shop. She was an avid gardener. She enjoyed driving her tractor, observing the wildlife around her home. Mrs. Bong had been a resident of the Rocky Hill Community for 15 years. She was a former resident of Houston, and a member of the Bethany Lutheran Church in Houston.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Carlene Hightower Wilkes and Robert Wilkes of Tacoma, Washington; mother, Emmie Moncrief Arnold of Houston; sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Allen Rogers of Houston; sister, S. A. LaBauve of Houston; great-grandson, David Lee Behnke of Tacoma, WA.; niece and husband, Kelli and Dr. David Wimberly of Friendswood; nephew and wife, Thomas and Lisa Rogers of Houston; nephew, Scott Cowles of Houston; .....

Mrs. Bong was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bob Bong, in 1991/
