Stanley Ray Allen, born September 7, 1942 in Wynne, Arkansas. He went to heaven on September 1, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He served in the Navy from 1960 to 1964. He worked as a Maintenance Supervisor for 43 years at Mississippi Phosphates Corp. He loved to fish, read books and watch westerns on TV.


He is preceded in death by his dad, Henry F. Allen; his mother, Agnes Sanford; son Stanley F (Frankie) Allen; brothers Henry F. Allen Jr and Bruce M. Allen; granddaughter Sarah Parks; and great granddaughter Lilly Ann Parks.


Survivors include his loving wife of 51 years, Carol; son Michael (Laura); daughters Pamela (Alan) and Charlotte (Craig); his 9 grandkids; 4 great grandkids; brother Tobe (Theresa); sisters Paula and Sue (Burt); special sister-in-law Doris; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.


Visitation will be Saturday, September 7th from 9am to 10am at Heritage Funeral Home. Memorial services will be at 10am with Eric Smith officiating. Burial to follow at Serene Gardens immediately after service.
