J.R.Cox

J.R.Cox, 78, well-known Chattanooga grocer, died yesterday at his residence on Dayton boulevard.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Red Bank Baptist church, the Revs. C.M. Pickler and W.C. Daniels officiating.

Surviving are his wife; three sons, J.W., R.C., and R.G. Cox; six daughters, Mrs. J.L. Lawson, Mrs. L.S. Trotter, Mrs. James S. Howley, Mrs. W. Howard Henry, Misses Mae and Myrtle Cox; a sister, Mrs. Sally White, Rome, Ga.; fifteen grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
