David (Roy) LeRoy Beeler Sr., 65, of 1610 Homewood Ave., trustee and former president of the Woodside Fire District, died at 5:10 p.m. Tuesday at St. John's Hospital.
He was a life member of the Operating Engineers Local No. 965 of Springfield.
Surviving are his wife, Gladys; two sons, David Jr. and Richard Allen Beeler, both of Springfield; one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Mary Alice) List, of Jacksonville; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Harrison and Mrs. Susan Fox, both of Springfield; and 13 grandchildren.
Services were at Bisch Memorial Home.
Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery.
