Kaimyn Michael Anderson, 12, of Mullens, was ushered into Heaven by Angels on Friday, September 6, 2013.

Born June 13, 2001 at Beckley, he was the son of Chrystal McKinney Anderson of Mullens and Michael James Anderson, Jr. of Beckley.
Kaimyn was a 6th grade student at Mullens Middle School. He was actively involved in football and basketball where he played for the Mullens Football League and was looking forward to his first basketball game on Tuesday for Mullens Middle School. He had previously played baseball and last year was a member of the Mullens All-Star Baseball Team that played in the State Baseball Tournament in Moorefield. He also played for the East Warriors AAU Basketball Team and Kaimyn was an avid Miami Heat fan.

K-Man always preferred and proudly wore the number 13 on all his sports jerseys.

Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Chrystal McKinney Anderson and her fiancé, Herbie Brooks of Mullens; his father, Michael James Anderson, Jr. and his wife, Kelli of Beckley; a sister, Kyrsha Anderson at home; his maternal grandparents, Hayden and Louise McKinney of Corinne; his paternal grandparents, Michael and Rezetta Anderson of Beckley; two half-sisters, Erin Anderson of South Carolina and Brooke Holmes of Florida; two half-brothers, Braxton Berry and Blake Penn both of Beckley; three step-sisters, Neriah Galloway, Kennedi Galloway, and Baylee Brooks all of Beckley; and Derek Brooks of Mullens and Kelsey Brooks of Beckley; a aunt, Sonya Williams and her husband, Denny of Corinne; close cousins, Garrick and Gary Weaver of Corinne, aunts, Melissa Gill of Beckley, Dorothy Tabor of Reidsville, NC, and Lisa Anderson Bandy of Murfreesboro, TN; uncles, Shawn Anderson and Brandon Anderson both of Beckley; and a host of other family. Kaimyn also leaves behind many friends and sports buddies whom he will miss playing and spending time with.

When we pause to remember Kaimyn we shall remember his love for all sports, his polite, kind nature, his sense of humor, and his friendly smile he showed to all of us!

Services will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at the Mullens Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Gilbert Dodson officiating. Entombment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Beckley.

Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. until time of services Tuesday at the church.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Kaimyn loved sports, so in keeping with his wishes the family requests, in lieu of flowers, donations of sympathy be made to Mullens Middle School Athletic Fund, 801 Moran Avenue, Mullens, WV 25882 or Wyoming East High School Athletic Fund, P.O. Box 390, New Richmond, WV 24867.
