Mrs. Black was born March 13, 1890 in Riverton, the daughter of George and Mary Wanless Armstrong.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Arthur Squires, of Springfield; one son, Byron S. Black, of R.R. 1; four grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. William Jefferson, of Suquamush, Wash.; Mrs. Thomas Gordon, of Pana; Mrs. P.H. Broughton, of Springfield; two brothers, Isaac Armstrong; and John Armstrong, both of Springfield.
The remains were at the Staab Funeral Home where services were held.
Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery.
